How to Make Italics in Microsoft Word

There are several ways to italicize text in Word. One way to italicize text in Word is by changing the font or font style. If you're not sure how, first highlight or select the text you want to italicize.

Next, go to the Home menu, then under Font Style, look for the italicized text. Once you've found the italicized font you're looking for, simply click on it, and your text will automatically change.
